I’m Will Trogdon, a Seattle-born creative leader who builds brands that unite communities and ignite fan passion. With over a decade at the intersection of sports, design, and technology, I lead teams that craft emotionally resonant stories and innovative experiences - transforming how fans connect with the teams they love.
Born and raised in Capitol Hill, my lifelong connection to soccer and design has shaped a career defined by purpose-driven creativity. I’ve led multi-disciplinary teams and collaborations across some of the most recognizable organizations in sports:
- Seattle Kraken & Climate Pledge Arena: As the first UX/UI Designer in professional sports to work in-house, I spearheaded the user experience and brand strategy of their inaugural fan-facing mobile app. Now boasting over 200K registered users, 30M+ sessions, the mobile app has earned recognition from Sports Business Journal, Geek Wire, and others.
- U.S. Soccer Federation: Oversaw photo/video/design teams in brand and design strategy across multiple FIFA World Cup cycles, leading cross-functional efforts with Nike and agency partners that resulted in record-breaking jersey sales and campaigns that captured the culture of American soccer.
- FIFA World Cup 26 Seattle Host Committee: As Director of Marketing & Brand, I currently lead creative strategy for Seattle’s World Cup host city program - uniting civic partners, corporate donors, and fans through storytelling, design systems, and large-scale activations that celebrate Seattle’s culture and global soccer legacy.
I’m passionate about elevating how fans experience soccer - in-stadium, online, and in the community. My leadership philosophy blends strategic brand building, creative innovation, and cross-departmental collaboration to deliver world-class creative that reflects the diverse spirit of the Pacific Northwest.

I’m an avid photographer, outdoors enthusiast, and proud Seattleite - most often found on a golf course, boarding the slopes, attending a sports game, or exploring new places that make a great old-fashioned.
